Our goal is to perform your cosmetic dental work flawlessly and without interrupting your daily life. When choosing veneers, you’ll only be coming in for two quick appointments. Porcelain veneers are great for any small imperfections like chips, cracks, stains, and gaps.
Porcelain veneers are especially recommended for the correction of staining from illness, medication, surgery, or fluorosis, a condition caused by too much exposure to fluoride that is common among communities with especially hard water.
In order to ensure a perfect fit, our team will take dental impressions to create custom veneers. These veneers will act as a protective covering worn over the front of each tooth. The material used is wafer-thin porcelain shells molded to match the size, shape, and color of your natural teeth. Veneers can make teeth look more straight and white and are what you often see on movie stars and television entertainers whose teeth look perfectly aligned and pearly white.
You can get porcelain veneers in two quick appointments.
The process of being fitted with veneers consists of two parts. During the first session, our team will gently remove a very thin slice of the enamel covering the front of your tooth. This leaves room on the tooth for the porcelain veneer. They also serve as a template from which the lab can design exact replicas to fit your teeth perfectly.
To use until your permanent veneers are ready, we will craft a temporary veneer for each tooth that is being treated. We can do this in our office so you can go home wearing a set of temporary veneers as a placeholder until your next appointment.
After about a week or two, your final, custom porcelain veneers will be ready. Once we receive your permanent veneers from the lab, we’ll bring you back into our office to fit and bond them onto your teeth. Perfectly matching your natural teeth size, shape, and color, veneers instantly improve the look of your teeth while rejuvenating your smile and giving you a cleaner, more radiant appearance.
